Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS)
EDIS provides services pursuant to the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Public Law 102-119, which applied the provisions of IDEA to the Department of Defense (DoD) to provide services to children in accordance with the
http://idea.ed.gov/. EDIS provides services to support eligible command sponsored families of children with developmental delays, disabilities, or special learning needs. The EDIS program is headquartered on USAG-Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. EDIS provides services throughout the Korean peninsula and is staffed by a dedicated team of qualified licensed and trained professionals. The program is composed of two age-specific programs; Early Intervention Services ( 0-36 months) and Related Services (3- 21 yrs).

To fulfill the requirements of Public Law 102-119, which directed the Department of Defense (DoD) to implement the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to eligible children of DoD families in Korea http://idea.ed.gov/.
